Jax turns 4!

Well this post is a little late but we celebrated Jaxon's 4th birthday with a bang!We had some of his closest friends over for a pizza party and cake and he had a blast running and playing with all of them and we enjoyed the parent interaction!

His other BFF, Kate was home sick...

His biggest celebration buddy was Maxdyn! What fun they had opening gifts together and playing with the gifts...and fighting over said gifts...so fun!

Here he is blowing out his many candles...it started out as 4 but he kept adding and adding!
and notice it is a buzzy bee cake...that is what he asked for and we found it! So typical Jaxon to want something out of the ordinary rather than a Lighting McQueen or Spiderman cake!
We celebrated the actual day with daddy staying home from work and taking the kids bowling and dinner at Jaxon's favorite place: Sweet Tomatoes!

He also got to celebrate at school! And being his unconventional self he wanted to bring donuts and milk instead of cupcakes...so we did! They were a hit!

and here he is leading The Pledge. He knows all the words to it and it makes us so proud to send him to a school that still makes it a priority!

He is also great at memorizing his Bible verses which makes us super proud!

And last but not least...here he is enjoying some of his birthday gifts!

The stamp set from Erika and family was a huge hit...and the day before school pictures! :) He had a new layer of skin for those pictures but not a stamp on him!

And the ultimate gift! His Police Car! He has asked for this thing since he could talk and would sit in it at every visit to Toys R Us so we finally gave in and got it for him and he loves giving sissy rides in it! And as the weather is almost at the perfect part of living in Arizona I am sure he will put lots of mileage on it! Luckily it doesn't take gas!

Sing silly made up songs and laugh at yourself...and say is that funny? All day long!

You love ladybugs

Say "When it's sunny day out" when talking about morning

You love when people laugh at you

You feel it is OK to discipline Maxdyn yourself

You love building houses out of the couch cushions

You love Car soup and Car Mac and Cheese

You are obsessed with sweets and sneak them when we aren't looking

You are also obsessed with water and if not swimming in the pool you are probably in the tub or shower

You love to plug the shower drain with a washcloth and take a bath in the shower and use all the shampoo you can find to make an extreme amount of bubbles

You love Tom and Jerry

You love to make Maxdyn laugh and cry in the same breath

You think its funny when people fall (a trait you get honestly)

Everyone you meet is your friend and you invite just about everyone over to our house to play (even strangers at the store)

You despise writing your name...you can do it but get bored after you make the J

You love sports...all sports and even enjoy watching them with daddy

You love downloading games to my phone and playing them and do so on your own when I am not looking!

You love to pray

You love all things blue

You hate all things orange (seriously, all things...you won't even eat orange candy or fruitsnacks)

You sneak into our room almost nightly to ask me to rub your back (another trait you get honestly)

You love to clean (a trait you get from daddy)

You would do dishes and Windex the windows all day if I let you

You love milk

You love any type of berry

You love to be naked (not something you get honestly)

I could go on and on and all these things you love are all things we love about you! You fill our lives with so much joy and laughter! God blessed us so much when He gave you to us and we thank him daily for you!
